the Actual Thing i learned is that nobody knows where eels spawn at. as in, all the eels in the world disappear into the ocean to lay eggs and nobody can find where they go to do it. this is highly unsettling, almost as unsettling as also finding out that african lungfish can grow up to 6 feet long and thus one could easily reach my bedroom window and tackle me to the ground at any moment, with the power of its oxygen-processing lungs
